To me, the most important factor behind the success of our work at Pitch Black (where we do theater in complete darkness) is to tell a story in it’s fullest potential with all of the other senses.
Making sounds and smells very specific so that it takes you (the audience) to the moments in the play with us.
As an actress in the show, not only is it important for me to work on my characters like in traditional theatre, it is also essential for me to be moving around the pitch black space in such a seamless way that it creates a magical moment for those who get to experience it. Read more>>
