The most important factor behind my success as an educator and the success of Land of Awes Kids Co is the deep sense of purpose and passion I bring to everything I do. Honesty has been the cornerstone of my success. I had to be deeply honest with myself about why I wanted to start my own healing business, where I envisioned it going, and what it would take to achieve those goals. This honesty not only shaped my journey but also allowed my meditations and sound baths to truly resonate with students and guests—I ask them to approach their own healing with the same level of honesty. To me, the most important factor behind the success of our work at Pitch Black (where we do theater in complete darkness) is to tell a story in it’s fullest potential with all of the other senses.
Making sounds and smells very specific so that it takes you (the audience) to the moments in the play with us.
As an actress in the show, not only is it important for me to work on my characters like in traditional theatre, it is also essential for me to be moving around the pitch black space in such a seamless way that it creates a magical moment for those who get to experience it. Read more>>
