We had the good fortune of connecting with Shannon Vendetta and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shannon, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I really want to be remembered as an inspiration. Someone who helped women fall back in love with their bodies. Too remind them they had the power all along to be who they were meant to be and how they want to look and feel. Too not be afraid of stepping up and making the changes they so deeply want.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Getting to where I’m at today was a bit of a struggle. I really had to work on myself and my mindset. I struggled with feelings of not being good enough, low self worth, blah blah blah. Once I got myself a coach and started to do the inner work, everything thing in my biz and life started changing. I was able to be a better trainer, Coach, inspiration. I was able to help my clients dig deep and get to the root of their problems. Help them heal and change their mindset about themselves. I’ve learned that until you forgive yourself, love yourself and honor yourself nothing will change for you. But once you do… watch how much your life will shift and become so truly amazing!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I could have a few days to just splurge and have fun and just simply pamper myself and take a friend, would be to go to some of my favorite spots in LA. We would have to go to Skin Worship to get the most amazing facial. Den Meditation for reset. Buy some crystals at Open Eye Crystals. Get a workout in at Get Hot Pilates. Eat at Gracias Madres. Grab some coffee. Walk around and do some shopping. Go to the farmers market. And last stop Erewhon (it’s so fun to shop in there I love it) . Best day ever!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Oh gosh first of all I owe everything to my Empowerment Coach Natalia Benson! Without her guidance I wouldn’t be where I’m at in my mindset. Mindset is key!!! You really have to get to a space that you can forgive yourself & love yourself! One of my favorite books is by Mel Robins “The 5 second Rule”. Every one should read it! If your not into reading then you must do the audible version! If you want to up level your life then go read it like right now!
