We had the good fortune of connecting with Nada Lena Nasserdeen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nada Lena, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Honestly, the most important factor is self-confidence in you that is unwavering. A confidence that is not determined by outside sources such as money, career title, your car, friends, or even your business growth. But determined strictly by your mindset and ability to say “YES!” Yes, I can do this and if I can’t I’m going to flipping figure it out.
What should our readers know about your business?
As a past performer, former executive, college professor, and now an entrepreneur, I have seen it all. Individuals around the world, who are smart, educated, and overly capable, sabotage their success in both the professional and personal areas of their lives. This tragedy by far is one of the worst diseases that we must cure within ourselves, within our team members, and within our community. Imagine a world where people put their best foot forward regardless of any fear they felt? What would the world look like if people led with empathy and carried themselves with the utmost confidence? Just imagine how much more productive and efficient our workplaces would be, how much more loving we would be to ourselves, and what youth and the next generation would like with such role models around them. Due to the ever-growing need, I decided to build Rise Up For You an educational and motivational company that focuses on enhancing company culture and personal development through teaching soft skills, aka human skills, coupled with career strategy. Through our core principles—educate, inspire, experience, and connect—we are dedicated to fostering sustainable growth in the companies and individuals we work with. Our mission is to help serve humanity by focusing on the most essential component—people. We offer interactive and experiential events, one-to-one coaching programs, and corporate trainings and workshops with a special focus on the interpersonal, emotional, and social skills needed to be successful in today’s world.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I for sure would take them to Griffith Park for a hike, then off to a nice vegan cafe in downtown and end with a musical 🙂
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A huge shout out to the Rise Up For You team for staying resilient and moving forward even when we couldn’t see the light or where we were clearly going.
