Our goal is to provide tangible and achievable tools towards education and action. Active, anti-racist allyship must be an ongoing process and Justice in June provides a starting place on this journey. We hope to see small wins shift to macro change by inspiring others to embody an anti-racist lifestyle and commit to the daily and consistent practice of showing up, constantly re-evaluating and evolving as an ally. I bring light to the versatility of health and wellness. It’s insane how much we can do with produce/herbs and other plant-based proteins. With price inflations and limited resources, the way things are going, we’re going to be forced to grow our own food, eventually. Maybe no time soon, but I believe it will happen in this lifetime. Although I am not vegan myself, just yet, I do live and promote a predominately plant-based lifestyle and I stay updated on my “food news.” A lot of our meats, even fruits and vegetables are being infused with chemicals and pesticides more and more every day.
