We had the good fortune of connecting with Zoe Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Zoe, has the Coronavirus Crisis changed how you think about work life balance?
When the Covid-19 outbreak began I never imagined we would be in a World Wide Pandemic. Once the virus hit the United States it began to spread rapidly. I knew at that point we wouldn’t be able to continue to work in such conditions. Since mid march I have been home and finding myself getting into a great routine. The most important thing I’ve learned through this crisis is to just slow down. I love my job and I am always giving it my all that sometimes I forget to take time off for myself. With this time off away from work I’ve truly learned more about myself and what actually what makes me happy.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Zoe Green owner of Brows By Zoe started her business in late 2017 to share her love of eyebrows with the world. Zoe, Esthetician with eight years of experience ; specializes in the art of eyebrows. She has worked her way up amongst the years to finally have own private space where she now services her clients. The road to where she is now was “not easy but 110% worth it”. Zoe wouldn’t change a piece of her path because it has made her who she is now. Without all those years of knowledge, detailed trainings, practice, taking jobs for less pay, risks, crying moments, and happy moments she would not have grown into the artist she is now. I want all aspiring artists and people who are inspired to start their own business to go after it! Do not look at failing as an option, look at it as a lesson. Cheers to you and your success!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was coming to Los Angeles for the weekend to visit I would definitely take her to a fabulous brunch spot called YardBird at the beverly center. They have amazing chicken and waffles plus great drinks! We love to go hang out by the beach so thats always a must, if you like more of a scene I would hit up Venice Beach. If you prefer more quiet definitely hit Malibu so gorgeous.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout my family, friends and clients for their continued support for my business Brows By Zoe
