We had the good fortune of connecting with Lidia Napoli and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lidia, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Because I just love creating, it makes me feel alive. I love creating stories, dreaming up characters and breathing life into them. I fully express myself through acting and writing, and more. I’ve been an actress for almost 20 years, I’m also a writer and a producer. I think that creativity is so important in our lives. I’m a creative mind and I adore learning new things.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What I’m most proud of in my work, are the experiences I’ve had and the artistic growth I’ve gained through them. No, it wasn’t easy at all. I’ve had so many challenges along the way like living alone since I was a teen and endless rejection. Getting through those things really teaches you a lot about yourself and it teaches you what you are capable of.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Turin is full of art, there are so many museums to choose from and even places to eat.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m grateful to the festivals that screened my first production “Jack” in America and in particular I’d like to mention the Children’s International Film Festival, the Canine Film Festival, the Pet Film Festival Tepoztlan and the Furry Burque Film Festival.
