We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Angulo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandon, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
To me, So many different Artists and People in my life have inspired who I am to this day. For My Music, I think my Inspirations would be Gorillaz. The Gorillaz have been a part of my life ever since I was a Kid, (My first album was Demon Days). The Idea of seeing how music is today and wanting to make it better is something I’ve always wanted to do. I’d also think Kid Cudi is another one of my inspirations. His Idea of making relatable music for everyone to listen to and feel connected with is my goal for my music. My work ethic and determination are inspired by my parents who have sacrificed their lives for me. I want to repay them one day so why not be the best at what I do to show my gratitude towards them.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Brxndoo Clothing to me is a Brand for everyone. It was brought to life because of My Music. It’s my take on what my music can’t say. The Colorways are inspired by the songs that are meant to match that album. To me, it’s another way to express Myself in ways Music can’t.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I were to go on a week long trip anywhere that I’ve been to, It would be San Diego. San Diego has so much to offer while being close to the beach. My favorite Food to eat with My Friends would definitely be Korean BBQ. We could go to Old Town San Diego, Go to the Gaslamp District and go shopping even. I’d love to have a Studio on the beach to have some inspiration to write as well……………
