Meet Alexandra Marie Panduro | Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandra Marie Panduro and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexandra, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game. “-Babe Ruth, I honestly use this quote for everything when it comes to life. When I am in a slump or feeling down I just reread this to myself over and over again. To me, it’s always meant to stop letting fear get in the way of doing anything. To just go for it. So you miss the first time, shake it off and do it again. That being afraid is only stopping me from achieving greatness. Once you get over the fear anything is impossible.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from other photographers is being able to provide affordable photography no matter the occasion and giving them an experience they will never forget. I like to get to know my clients. I like talking to them about actual things that are going on life. If you go and read my reviews a lot of them tell you it feels like we have known each other for a lifetime. I don’t just tell you to smile do this, do that I talk to you. iI get to know you. I ask you if your goals or what are you working on. I talk to the kids get to know them. Listening to a 5-year old tell you what they want to be when they grow up is the cutest thing!. I am also proud that I am able to do that. Photography can be expensive very costly and it has every right to be, but beautiful photography should be accessible to everybody, and that’s where I come in. I feel I have gotten this far because I took the leap and started doing it full-time. I left my career to follow my passion and i wouldn’t go back. Was it easy? Not really, following your dreams during this never-ending pandemic has been very trying in a sense of you don’t know what the future holds. That’s when my favorite quote comes in “never let the fear of striking you out keep you from playing the game:”, because you can’t let the fear of the future stop you from following your dreams. If you let fear take over then you won’t get anywhere and will always have the question of “what if I would of. . .” I dont like that question so I just go for it. Its not easy at the start but it is definitely worth it as long as you keep pushing.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Living in Cali we have so many different things to do. The first thing we would drive down to Venice beach pick up some 420 friendly products and walk the boardwalk. Get lots of In-N-Out and King Taco. Make it to Temecula and go wine tasting. Spend a day at Disneyland. Walk the Hollywood Star walk. Take a drive and disconnect from the world and finish of the week in Yosemite.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Were do i even start. It may sound clichebut the first person would be the woman who gave me life. my mother. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be here, but it’s also because she is the strongest person I know. She raised two kids that didn’t deserve her. When life was tough she didn’t give up not even when it felt the world was crashing down on us. she remained strong and pushed through. She always put us first, till this day she still does. My sperm donor left when I was 5 I think and was just a person in my life he never really made the attempt of being a “father” That’s where my Nino & Grandfather stepped in and made sure I never felt like I needed him or like I was missing something. I always said that when it came down to walk down the isle they would on each arm. The next person would have to be my Husband he pushes me to be a better photographer, a person, a wife, and a mother. He doesnt let me give up when things get tough. The next two on my list would be my daughters. These girls push me to give them the life they deserve and so much more and they don’t even know it. They push me on a daily baises and I am always learning from them. I want them to be proud to say “Thats my mom”: like I am of mine. The last person I would have to give credit to would be my guadarian angel. my Grandmother, when my mom worked my grandma would be the one to take care of us. She was the main reason I decided to pick up the camera. I didnt have many pictures with her, and the ones I do I cherish extremely & wouldn’t want anyone else to feel like that. If it wasn’t for these people I wouldnt be as far as I am today. They all bring something to the table when it comes to giving me motivation and or support..
