Meet Terrance Disman | Entertainment Mogul

We had the good fortune of connecting with Terrance Disman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Terrance, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I was born and raised in New Jersey. My company started in Edgewater Park,NJ. New Jersey has been a big staple for me, they supported me when I first started and still do to this day. I think if I didn’t go through what I went through in NJ, I wouldn’t have moved across the country to expand my business and give people in NJ opportunities to see the west coast for the first time. The experiences I went through on the east coast molded me today into who I am. The bad times taught me about different people and when to walk away from an opportunity. The good times taught me that I can do this and that I have the power inside of me to accomplish even my wildest dreams. I’m forever thankful for my life in NJ.

What should our readers know about your business?
Let’s start off with Cutty TV LLC, my baby, I have been a proud business owner since 2018. I created Cutty TV for the sole purpose to give the youth another opportunity in life. We are the platform for independents. I started off just wanting to help a close friend push his career and be heard by different people and then I saw how many other people need the same kind of help. So I made it my mission to just do what I can for the community and that turned into so much. I wrote a book called “How to become the perfect artist” teaching artists how to do music and it went #1 in 24 hours. I’m also creating a new app called Studio View which will allow artists to book studio time anywhere in the country. I filmed the only comedy special at the first black-owned comedy club in Las Vegas. I have done record-breaking videos on our youtube, it’s honestly humbling when I go back and see everything that we have done. We just care about the people and our brand, that’s what makes us so special.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Okay so in Los Angeles, that’s the one thing I love. We have so much to do, so to start off I would have to take them to my favorite food spot which is Doomie’s in Hollywood. I take everyone here when they come to LA, then we would have to make our way to Hollywood so they can see the blvd, and see the Hollywood sign. The view’s in Los Angeles alone have never been seen if you don’t live here, so I always take people to the hills to really see why we pay so much in LA lol. For the next couple of days I would take them to all of the tourist spots, we have so many in LA. I’ll most likely be recording a video that week so ill make them a special guest on my youtube, and then to end it all out I would take them to one of the shows I’m hosting. Being at one of my shows is an experience in itself so something I would definitely want them to experience.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank everyone who has been with me along my journey. Everyone knows my story of losing both of my parents a month apart from each other and also losing a close friend of mine that same year. All of you beautiful people who supported Cutty TV, who bought a shirt, who picked up a copy of my #1 new release book, and watched our youtube. You guys don’t know how much that kept me going, my life was very hard at one point. Those words, those likes, and those views all kept me going to know I have a deeper purpose in life. So first off I wouldn’t be here without my support system around me. Also, my beautiful fiance, Brianna Lawnya has helped my life also. You have given me a second life and you came just in time.
