Meet PAOLA SANCHEZ | Digital/Video Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with PAOLA SANCHEZ and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi PAOLA, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
My end goal is to become a Stand up comedian. I want to do tours all around the world. Looking back a few years back I never thought that was going to be the end goal, because of the fact that I am such an introverted person. As the years past and I got into the social media world, I found out that I really love making people laugh and I would love to take my content to the next level. I know that there might be some bumps on the road, but nothing like giving up. I really hope to one day stand on a stage and continue to make people laugh.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I wouldn’t say the content I create is Art, however is something that started as a hobby and became such an important part of my life, and it makes me excited when I make other people laugh. I fulfills me with joy and happiness and being being happy is life. I stated to create content as a hobby and now I see myself as a brand that one day wants to touch a stage and continue to make people laugh and that’s what sets me apart from other creators.
I was definitely not easy to get to where I am, but being patient plays a big role into making this happen. When the pandemic hit, no one knew that it was going to be like it was, it was definitely a struggle for everyone, and being able to put a smile on people that were going through some hard time, made it worth it for me.
I have learned so much about mental health along the way, it is not easy being exposed to so many strangers that are watching you and waiting for you to make the wrong move. It is tough but is something that I believe every content creator struggles with. Taking some time off definitely plays a big part in my life, because burn out ain’t no joke.
I want the world to know that anything is possible as long as you put in the work and put your mind to it, manifest and you will see results along the way. Nothing is impossible.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I honestly would take my friend to the closest cities, like Philadelphia, Pittsburg and even New York City. I would take them where my culture is the most represented. I definitely take them out for some Tacos, just because is my favorite dish in the world and who says no to tacos?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shout out all of my Latinx community for their support and making this happen. I am someone that struggled to find herself and thanks to the community’s support I can now say that I am a very proud Latina and no one can take that away from me.
