We had the good fortune of connecting with Inna Chebeliuk and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Inna, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Nexa Events is a full-service event production company located in the heart of Beverly Hills, CA. For the past 3 years we grew significantly and focused on high-profile private events. This rapid success happened for a reason: we bring greatness for every event we take on and exceed expectations. Our fuel is creating happy emotions that you get during the event. We take your vision and transform it into a high-end, storytelling experience. We offer event design, planning, entertainment, and management services so you can enjoy being the life of the party without having to run the show. Large-scale events, like conferences, non-profit events, weddings, private and corporate events are not easy to handle. What makes the event planning process different for us? Passion! We love what we do and plan life’s special events so you don’t have to.​

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have a Juris Doctor Degree and Master’s in Finance. Thanks to my parents for giving me that great foundation. I have been working in online marketing field for the past 6 years. And I think these three fields: legal, finance, online marketing such a great combination for running your own business. Nothing is easy. I love this quote: “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. The best is yet to come.” by Zig Ziglar. About 10 years ago I would overthink too much, which has lead to delayed decisions and not pursuing opportunities. My advise would be to learn how to set realistic expectations, stop being afraid of making mistakes and more important stop judging yourself in the past and analyzing how it could be if you would do something differently. Live in the present, be consistent in what you do and get some patience. Funny enough, but at 16 years old I wrote a business plan for event planning company and forgot about it and now 15 years later I successfully run an event planning agency. Sometimes you just need to listen your inner voice and trust yourself.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, we live in on of the most beautiful states talking about nature. If you say one week – its great for a nice road trip. I would take my friend to Yosemite National Park, and then to see Sequoias, and do beautiful hikes in Mammoth Lakes. Big Sur is another wonderful place to check. And probably I would stop by at the Moonshadows to get some good food and enjoy the sunset. Living in the digital world is not easy due to the amount of information we have to consume on a daily basis. Trips like that help us to release and clean our thoughts and remember who we are and what truly matters for us.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m on of those people who can not quit till the goal is reached. Giving up is too boring. What is success definition to me? It’s not about always winning, not doing mistakes, being the first and the only. It’s all about gaining experience, making mistakes, but knowing how to learn from them and using your experience to achieve goals. I appreciate every person in my life I learned from good or bad. The only motivator I follow on Instagram is Gary Vaynerchuk @garyvee a serial entrepreneur, who serves as the Chairman of VaynerX, the CEO of VaynerMedia and the Creator & CEO of VeeFriends. Back in 2019 I was attending Talent Connect in Dallas and Gary was one of the speakers. I was very much impressed with his speech. “Running a Company with empathy and kindness, and every other emotional intelligence is a foundation to build a great business financially.” At that time I had a question of identifying my kindness as strength or weakness. And his speech helped to realize that kindness is such a powerful strength our days.
