We had the good fortune of connecting with Oscar Garza and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Oscar, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I was born in Mexico and came to the United States when I was 12 years old I was new to the country and a bit of culture shock. Definitely, I didn’t know why or the reasoning behind why coming to a new country was going to be beneficial I just confuse and worried knowing that I needed to comprehend a new language. “The immigrant mentality” That’s what I liked to called it, my upbringing was to be become as knowledgeable as possible on everything I put my mind into.

Content creation was special to me because it show me that there is no limit to art, you can make as many videos you can take millions of pictures I guarantee there is always something you learned from it’s seems like a very cliché saying but when you start doing it on a certain level there are always room to improve and trust me I’m still learning how to be an outstanding entrepreneur It’s been a roller coaster of emotions.

Futhermore my background has though me one huge lesson failures mean keep going.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

My art is how I feel… Cliché right in reality it’s true there are somedays I’m on darkest moments that I go to Lightroom and all my pictures would be black and white with a splash of emo but, there is also someday that I’m happy camper and I like to take my saturation color at the extreme is it a healthy mindset? You tell me.

Getting into content creation was a surprise its a pretty expensive hobby but one time on instagram I got a DM saying how much for a photography session I was like I can make money doing this are you kidding me? From that day on I knew well…. Not really I was like extra source of income to be real with you. Keep in mind I was going to school, working full time and side hustle I was just a broke workaholic that make sense right?

Sacrifices to help me succeed in my career no more parties no more going out with my friends on the daily it was going to be pure grind mode for a bit. In reality I’m still the same workaholic but way better with my finances!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
the week-long trip would be basic sometimes you gotta do a basic thing and it works 99% of the time for example going to the Hollywood sign, the Observatory cruise along Sunset Strip and Venice Beach.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
