Meet Glenís Hunter | Actress & Writer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Glenís Hunter and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Glenís, how do you think about risk?
Risk is definitely one of the scariest words that I’ve had to confront in my life. Without it, I KNOW for a fact I wouldn’t be where I am today. When I think of this word I think of leaving my comfort zone and seeking situations that will help me grow. With that also comes a lot of discomfort. I think it’s important to analyze what you’re risking and if it’s really worth it. We have to be smart about our next moves so we don’t end up hurting ourselves later on. But sometimes, you just have to jump and see where it leads you. That pain can be just as valuable as anything else.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m still pretty new to LA (been here a year and a half) from New York City, but the first place I’d take them to is Angel’s Tacos! They have multiple locations around the city. I’m always sending my family pictures. Their tacos are the best. Period! Then we’d have to hit up Tiger Sugar in K-Town for some bubble tea. I’m addicted to bubble tea. I also like clothes so a trip to The Santee Alley wouldn’t hurt. That’d be a whole day affair for sure. For some extra fun I’d take them to my Bang Muay Thai class in Burbank. I think I’d probably be the only one who would enjoy that though. Finally, the beach. They can’t come to LA and not hit up Santa Monica or ride bikes in Venice.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to shout out my loving family and close friends! I’m so blessed to have such an incredible support team who believes in me even when I can’t believe in myself! They uplift me, they love me, they also challenge me to grow and be a better person. Thank you!!!
