Meet Aline Iwazaki | Co-founder of Yes Queen Brides

We had the good fortune of connecting with Aline Iwazaki and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Aline, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I had been thinking about starting my own business for about a year, but I didn’t have a clear idea of what the business was going to be. All I knew was that I wanted to leave my 9-5 and build something that is aligned with me & my values. I spent the year studying business and doing everything I could to learn as much as possible, so I would be as ready as I could be when my big idea came.
In 2021 I signed up to participate in a 4-day online summit with Tony Robbins & Dean Graziosi. It was an incredible experience, and I felt very inspired by their stories and message. On the third day of the summit, I decided it was the day I would find my big business idea. I started making a list of all the things that are unique to me & the things I had experienced in my life – and funny enough, that was the day Yes Queen Brides was born! I instantly felt aligned with the idea of helping & supporting as many brides-to-be, so they could enjoy this period of their lives & get their dream wedding! This is something I deeply needed when I was planning my wedding & it would’ve made all the difference for me!
At that moment, I knew I wanted my best friend, Aleksandra Kiec, a destination wedding planner, to start this business with me. I began creating a PowerPoint presentation to pitch her my idea and asked if she wanted to have lunch with me the next day. That same day she said yes & we instantly started working on building the business!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our business is an online platform designed to connect destination wedding brides to answers and support from a network of global industry leaders, so they can achieve their dream day while feeling their best!
As a bride-to-be myself, I realized the lack of support brides get very early on in my journey. We get our shiny rings and are instantly supposed to turn into professional wedding planners, super hosts, the perfect wife material, have the perfect body, etc. But nobody is there to guide us through the whole process and the amount of pressure we, and society, put on ourselves during this transitioning time. We try and go through it all alone, and the next thing we know, we are called bridezillas from the left, right, and center. I hated that as it was far from the beautiful experience I had dreamt of since I was a little girl. So I set myself to change that in the world, and that’s how Yes Queen Brides was born! Aleks and I created a one-stop place where brides-to-be could access everything they needed to plan their destination wedding, get support from industry professionals on various areas in their lives such as mindset, healthy & fitness, money, communication, relationship, time management, hosting skills, and connect with other brides-to-be.
My business partner, Aleks Kiec, and I designed our platform together by joining forces and points of view. I brought in the perspective of a bride-to-be, and she brought in the perspective of a professional wedding planner. By combining the two, we have created the ideal product for brides – where the information is professional and accurate, but also easy to understand, to the point, and as fast to implement as possible. We wanted to make the process as seamless and easy as possible so they could best use their time to enjoy their engagement period, and put some focus on essential areas in their lives that often get neglected due to their lack of time. And that’s what our library filled with masterclasses hosted by industry professionals on topics such as mindset, healthy & fitness, money, communication, relationship, time management, etc. comes in! They can choose the areas they feel they need more support with at any time during their journey.
Our goal is to empower these women by giving them the knowledge and support they need, so they can reach the best version of themselves and feel like a Queen when walking down the aisle – ready to start the next chapter of their lives!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love being by the sea so I would definitely spend a day by Santa Monica pier, followed by a drive up to Malibu beach! Then on the second day, we would do all the city’s touristy things such as Hollywood Boulevard walk, and see the Hollywood sign, followed by shopping & dinner on Rodeo drive.
and on the third day, we would spend the day at Universal Studios having a blast in all the fun rides!
These are some of my favorites restaurants-
– Avra Beverly Hills
– Bazaar Los Angeles
