Meet Christian aka Kyam Stewart-Estrada | Podcaster and Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christian aka Kyam Stewart-Estrada and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christian aka Kyam, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I desired to create a platform for all fans of sports to give their perspective of the game. Not only would we provide insight on sports topics, but also to help individuals in other fields to be recognized. The ability to utilize sports to teach the listeners how to communicate effectively even when others disagree.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Spending time in the podcast world I’ve been able to create some great moments. The ability to come together with a collective of individuals and develop topics is a challenge. Yet we were able to take the best from one another’s ideas and create a well organized show.
While spending my time coming up with ideas and topics I learned to keep it simple.
The best thing to do at times is not force entertainment and just let it flow. The best conversations always happens organically. We stride to respect all individuals beliefs and opinions, but we don’t mind asking questions to learn about someones perspective.
We are all about each one teach one and you never know what you can learn when you just take a moment to listen.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If you’re ever visiting LA, you have to go to Juice-C- Juice in Carson for a delicious smoothie. They always have something refreshing to start your day. After you grab that healthy smoothie it’s time to get some lunch. I suggest Steven’s in Gardena, they have the best pastrami burrito. Oh and don’t forget a side of peppers. A little spicy but worth it.
I’m really a chill guy that don’t mind the simple things in life, so make sure to visit the Korean Bell in San Pedro. It’s a beautiful view and a great way to enjoy the ocean.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Having many different guest on the show, hosting became a bit difficult in my first two seasons. Luckily I found some individuals that helped me come up with ideas for our segments. Thanks to my team we were able to put out great content and quality information.
Shanice Nicole, Carlon Jeffery, and Shay.
Together we were able to do great work over at Third Wheel Podcast Studios during our 3rd season. I appreciate my good friend Comedian and Podcaster Mike Masilotti for allowing us to utilize his studio.
Also can’t forget my good friend, music producer Frost Da Great. Frost helped me during my first 2 seasons of the show. I would record episodes in the booth of a rappers studio. Without that start I would not have been able to put out great audio content.
Finally I thank my family for always pushing me to go after the things I love. They are forever in my corner and cheering me on.
