We had the good fortune of connecting with Jevon Ross aka Nvrhme. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jevon Ross aka Nvrhme., what is the most important factor behind your success?
I’d have to say my family gaining financial literacy and freedom is the most important thing to me. Everything I do is for my family.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
In the last two months of 2022 I opened my first music studio. It’s called Studio Eight LA, located in Burbank, Ca. My goal for the studio is to make a studio centered around helping artists of all levels have a safe space to create. Everything about the space is centered around artists, from the aesthetic on camera for content, to amenities, and even prices. I feel like I have an advantage working with artists because I am a music artist myself and have a better understanding of what they go through trying to reach their goals.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First we would have to go to Joan’s on third for breakfast/brunch. Then I would show them Ventura, maybe go to Wasteland to thrift some crazy pieces. From there we would go to the Broad museum. Then grab a drink at the W hotel lobby. After the museum and drinks we would get sushi at Yamashiro. Lastly after dinner, late at night we would end it with Wi spa in downtown. It’s best really late night.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my oldest brother. He was my introduction to music and recording. When I was really young I would help him in the studio and really got used to the environment, recognizing sounds, and all the crazy hours. Due to a tragic accident he can’t make music anymore so I do this for him.
