We had the good fortune of connecting with Parissa Chubak and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Parissa, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I was always in love with jewelry but I loved variety and change. I started re-designing my own jewelry for fun. People would stop me on the street, in parties or meetings to admire the jewelry I was wearing. I decided to create few pieces for sale and that is how I started my jewelry business

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I became a jewelry designer late in life. I was a banker, oil & gas and power professional most of my career. Jewelry was my passion and a side hobby. When my father passed away 6 years ago, I decided to dedicate my full time attention to my passion; jewelry design. It was not easy at all and a leap of faith but I am very happy about my decision. I aim to provide my clients with unique, great quality and affordable jewelry to become staple pieces in their wardrobe. I also provide re-design services to my clients. I love to create new jewelry from old pieces and mix and match them. I like to talk to my clients, understand their needs and come up with a new design that fits their lifestyle. It is a fun process involving their ideas and taste

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love Los Angeles! My friends are food lovers so would take them to places I love to eat; Il Pastaio on Canon Drive in Beverly Hills, Musso and Frank, Salty Girls and Soulmate in Hollywood.

Will take them hiking in our beautiful canyons and walking by the beach in Manhattan Beach

I am in love with the Museum of Motion Pictures so that would be a must

I will take them to Pasadena and Laguna Beach to show them around

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have been lucky to have a loving husband, aunt and uncle and friends who have always supported me in my personal and professional life. I would love to thank them all for their constant support and encouragement.
