Hi Blake, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
When it comes to the real estate industry, one thing that most people are often unaware of is just how much work goes into selling a home. While some may view it as a relatively straightforward process of putting a house on the market and waiting for a buyer to come along, the reality is that there are numerous steps involved in successfully selling a property.

One of the most time-consuming aspects of selling a home is the preparation that goes into getting the property ready for sale. This can include tasks such as decluttering, deep cleaning, staging, and making any necessary repairs or upgrades. Depending on the condition of the home, this can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks to complete.

In addition to preparing the home for sale, there is also the process of marketing the property to potential buyers. This involves creating professional-quality photographs and videos, writing compelling property descriptions, and listing the home on various online platforms and in print publications. We also use our network to spread the word about the property and attract potential buyers.

Once a potential buyer has expressed interest there are numerous additional steps that need to be taken, such as scheduling and hosting showings, negotiating the terms of the sale, and coordinating with the many professionals involved in the process. This can be a time-consuming and at times a stressful process, particularly if unexpected issues arise along the way.

Overall, selling a home is a complex process that requires a significant amount of work and attention to detail. Being from the Midwest and breaking into one of the most competitive real estate markets at a young age was challenging but I overcame those obstacles through hard work and persistence. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When my friends come to town, I make sure to take them on an unforgettable trip through our diverse and vibrant city. We normally start off with a leisurely drive up the Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu, where we grab lunch with an incredible ocean view at Moonshadows or an amazing dinner at Nobu.

To explore the rich cultural offerings of the city, a trip to the Getty Center or LACMA is a must! For drinks and nightlife, the Edition rooftop is my go-to with its incredible views, or State Social House for something more laid back.

In LA, there’s always something new and exciting to discover, from the street art in the Arts District to the unique shops on Abbot Kinney Boulevard. With its endless possibilities for adventure and exploration, LA truly offers the best time ever for anyone seeking fun, culture, and food
