We had the good fortune of connecting with Dale Stabler Elizabeth Endres and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dale Stabler, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
You always have to be open to evolving. In any industry, you must be open to change or evolving – if you don’t, someone else will! Especially in a digital age, things are moving at an incredibly quick pace. It allows for a ton of creativity, but also it’s easy to fall behind or be replaced. Always be forward thinking.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Sweats & The City all started with the goal of creating an online community where we could discuss the booming fitness scene in New York City. When we first started exploring boutique fitness ourselves, we quickly realized that for something that had such an impact on our daily routine, productivity and overall well being — there wasn’t a resource that would offer insight, tips and information that would help us navigate the fitness scene. Quickly, Sweats & The City was born – and it expanded to all things health, wellness and fitness. We then launched our app ORRO during the pandemic, which is a virtual fitness platform that offers hundreds of live + on-demand online fitness classes from instructors all over the globe, for one subscription price. This was created out of the need to get that “boutique fitness” experience we know and love at home. Everything we have created, has really been a personal need that we were looking for in the fitness market. Approachable, relatable and useful – with a strong community. We have always put the community first and respond to the market needs and figure out how we can best help them in their fitness journey.

Shoutout to Emily Chestler, who has been an amazing partner throughout the years in the fitness and wellness space. We have worked with her in so many different areas and she really helped our vision of ORRO (then Sweat with Sweats) kick off and come to life. She’s a true go-getter and has such passion for the fitness space, seeking out talent and creating strategic partnerships.
