We had the good fortune of connecting with wonderful Official and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi wonderful, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
All of us are from Los Angeles and are natives to the city. Growing up in LA impacted us by influencing our music, perspectives and outlook in life. LA is a diverse city with different people on every corner who can influence you.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We are a Pop-Rock band based In Los Angeles. We are known for our high-energy live performances, loud and dominating sound when playing a show and are able to gain an audience’s attention quickly and hold it. We are most proud of our singles that have been released as well as our journey from playing in a garage to doing the shows that we have done and working with some amazing people along the way. What sets us apart from other bands is our commitment to playing rock n roll music without compromise or selling out. We use minimal pedals, equipment and production in our deliverance of a classic power trio sound.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In LA there are so many different areas to visit and hang out as well as meet people. Definitely starting with Santa Monica and going to Harvelle’s for live music and good drinks. In WeHo, going to State Social House on Sunset is a must due to the amazing live music on Friday nights as well. Hollywood can speak for itself with the restaurants, sites and historic spots on Sunset and Hollywood BLVD. Downtown LA would be a must as well at Grand Central Market.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Having met, practiced and wrote while attending college, we would love to shout-out UCLA for having put us on this path. If it wasn’t for that school, we would have probably never met due to how big LA is as a city.
