Hi Helen, what are you inspired by?
My constant inspiration stems from my family roots—being a first-generation American with origins in Georgia, the country. Overcoming life’s challenges with a language barrier has been no small feat, and I truly commend my parents for their resilience. Their journey, marked by substantial sacrifices, motivates me to create a better life for them now. I’ve always felt a calling to achieve something meaningful, considering it my destiny. The unwavering determination of my parents is the driving force behind my ambition, making them my ultimate source of inspiration.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
In my entrepreneurial journey, constant evolution is the norm. Navigating through diverse roles and seizing various opportunities presents its challenges, yet the sleepless nights validate the dedication. Time often feels like a constraint, prompting me to start earlier in the day and end later to meet deadlines. Though my career is in its early phases, the potential for learning and growth is expansive. Despite the recurring reminder to take my own advice, I stress the importance of incorporating rest days to avoid burnout, a pivotal factor in achieving success. To those reading this, embrace the idea that continuous evolution is not just acceptable but a fundamental part of the entrepreneurial experience!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Whenever friends or family visit, a must-visit spot is Castaways Restaurant in Burbank for its breathtaking views of Los Angeles. Besides that, if time allows for an escape from the city, I make sure to bring them to Cialo Farms, a beautiful vineyard in Malibu. There’s just something special about soaking in a fantastic atmosphere with some great company.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Gratitude truly falls short when it comes to my best friend Leesie. She’s been there every step of the way, growing and evolving alongside me, and instrumental in turning my dreams into tangible achievements. Leesie not only encourages but actively pushes me to pursue what truly matters in life, reminding me that embracing significant risks is part of the journey. It’s no exaggeration to say that without Leesie, my journey wouldn’t have led me to where I am today.
