Hi Reza, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
As I look back on what led me to embrace a creative career, a mix of influences has shaped my journey. From a young age, I was captivated by the magic of freezing moments in time through my camera lens. Expressing myself through the images I captured brought me immense joy and fulfillment. Coming from a traditional family, my love for photography was initially seen as just a hobby. Encouraged to pursue a more typical career, I ended up pursuing a degree in mining engineering. Yet, my passion for photography persisted, and I found a like-minded companion in my college best friend, who shared my enthusiasm for capturing moments. Together, we immersed ourselves in the world of photography, fueled by my eagerness to absorb every bit of knowledge available on the subject.
Despite the detour from my creative passion during my academic pursuits, a turning point came when I met my life partner, my wife, Verzh. Her unwavering support and encouragement prompted me to reassess my path. With her encouragement, I rediscovered the significance of pursuing what genuinely brings joy and fulfillment in life.
In summary, the combination of personal passion, the freedom of artistic expression, and the liberating idea of escaping a routine job collectively pushed me towards a creative and artistic career. This journey has truly been an amazing one and I am excited to see where it takes us next.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey in photography has been a dynamic exploration, marked by constant reinvention and a commitment to pushing artistic boundaries. What sets me apart is my dedication to learning and evolving, not only from successes but also from mistakes. I pride myself on adapting to new photography styles, trends, and equipment, ensuring that my work remains fresh and relevant. Professionally, reaching my current position was not without its challenges. The path wasn’t always easy, but each obstacle served as a valuable lesson. I overcame challenges through perseverance, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for the craft. The dynamic nature of the photography industry demands resilience and a proactive approach to stay ahead.
Throughout this journey, I’ve learned the importance of not limiting myself to a specific niche. While I may have a focal point, I allow myself the freedom to explore light, composition, and various styles across different realms of photography. This approach has not only expanded my skill set but has also brought a unique versatility to my work.
Communication plays a pivotal role in my process. Constant brainstorming and attentive listening to my clients allow me to understand their vision and bring it to life. Collaboration and understanding the nuances of each project are key elements that contribute to the success of my work.
My brand stands for innovation, adaptability, and a deep passion for storytelling through the lens. Every project is a canvas where I blend technical expertise with creative intuition to deliver compelling visual narratives. I am excited about the future, eager to embrace new challenges, and committed to capturing the beauty of the world through my unique perspective.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Exploring Laguna Beach’s vibrant art galleries, soaking up the sun and surf on the beach, and indulging in coastal dining. Visiting The Broad Museum for contemporary art and enjoying the breathtaking city lights from Griffith Observatory.
Finally, a stroll along Hollywood Boulevard to witness the Hall of Fame and iconic Chinese Theater.

Throughout the week, I’d incorporate hidden gems and local spots. Whether it’s sipping coffee at a quaint cafe, enjoying the ocean breeze in Laguna Beach, or immersing ourselves in the artistic and cultural richness of downtown LA, the itinerary would capture the essence of the area, creating unforgettable memories for my best friend.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Special thanks to my mom, who ignited the spark of my creativity by gifting me my first camera at the tender age of 7. In college, my good friend Amin played a pivotal role, offering constant encouragement that fueled my creative spirit.
Jalal Sepehr and Daruish Kiani, my mentors, deserve recognition for their invaluable guidance. Their wisdom and expertise have been instrumental in shaping my artistic skills.
My wife, Verzh, deserves a heartfelt acknowledgment for her unwavering trust and support. Her belief in my artistic pursuits and her willingness to embark on this journey with me have been a source of strength and motivation.
A big shoutout to my good friend Raymond, whose generosity in sharing his knowledge of photography has been instrumental in my growth.
