Hi Bernard, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
As Bernard Yagee, a singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer, and audio engineer, I pursued an artistic and creative career because music has always been my deepest passion and source of inspiration. From a young age, I found solace and joy in expressing myself through melodies, lyrics, and soundscapes.

Music has a unique power to convey emotions, tell stories, and connect people from different walks of life. As an artist, I am driven by the desire to share my experiences, thoughts, and feelings with others through my songs and compositions. Whether it’s writing heartfelt lyrics, crafting intricate melodies, or experimenting with different sounds in the studio, music allows me to explore the depths of my creativity and imagination.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
During my friend’s week-long visit, we’d explore the area’s best spots, try out local food, and enjoy the sights. From checking out cool neighborhoods to relaxing outdoors, we’d mix it up with good food, live shows, and maybe even a day trip nearby. As the week wraps up, we’d say goodbye with awesome memories and a stronger friendship.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In the story of my life, there are two figures who hold such profound significance that I would move mountains and brave the fiercest storms for them: my mother and my brother.

My mother, the very essence of love and resilience, stands as the unwavering cornerstone of my existence. Her unwavering devotion, unwavering support, and unyielding belief in my dreams have sculpted the very fabric of who I am. I would traverse the depths of the earth and face the mightiest adversaries to ensure her happiness and well-being, for her sacrifices and boundless affection have etched an indelible mark upon my soul.

My brother, a steadfast companion on this journey of life, embodies the essence of camaraderie and shared aspirations. Together, we have woven the melodies of our dreams, embracing the harmonies of laughter and the symphonies of shared passions. I would face the fires of adversity and brave the tempests of uncertainty to safeguard his dreams and aspirations, for his unwavering support and unspoken understanding have been the bedrock of my strength.

In their presence, I find solace, inspiration, and the unwavering assurance that no challenge is insurmountable and no dream too grand. To my mother and brother, I pledge an unyielding devotion and an undying commitment, for their love has ignited the flames of possibility and illuminated the path to my greatest aspirations. In their embrace, I find my truest essence, and in their love, I discover the boundless depths of my soul.
