We had the good fortune of connecting with Katie Enright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Katie, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
Well, first off, I think success is absolutely not a straight line. My original plan was a life of study and reflection as a nun, and now I’m creating cannabis wellness products to help people improve intimacy. The key is to find what you love to do and ways in which you can help positively impact the world around you, whatever that may be. From there, with a lot of effort and quite a few setbacks, success will usually follow. My company Lavinia’s success has been about crafting THC products that contribute to the wellbeing of our users, both in and out of the bedroom. In the cannabis industry, success means providing innovative products and solutions for enhancing people’s lives while advocating for positive change and breaking down any stigma associated with cannabis use. It’s always a moving target, which is what makes being an entrepreneur so exciting.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our business aims to help people improve intimacy, enhance performance, and reset with the help of cannabis. We believe this miraculous plant can play an integral part in living a more fulfilling life. What sets us apart is that our company literally started in my kitchen. After nearly becoming a nun and then trying to navigate the world of sex, I stumbled upon the connection between sex and THC after a sports injury. Failing to find a suitable THC sexual wellness product, I began making my own, which eventually evolved into our business.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting the area, I would take them on a week-long adventure exploring the diverse and vibrant culture of Los Angeles. A week is a perfect amount of time, considering LA is like a whole bunch of cities and there is SO much to explore.
