We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrien Stinger and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Adrien, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Music is something I fell in love with at an early age. The albums, concerts, interviews, music videos, and the merch is something my soul gravitated towards. In a repetitive world, I love the process of creating something that hasn’t been done before. I also love inspiring the youth and the artists that will come after me.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Over the years I became larger than just a musician but I became a brand. What separates me from other independent artist is that I understand the business. I could easily sign to a label but I enjoy the process of creating my own brand and instead of getting the money and rewards upfront, I grind and enjoy the fruits from my labor as I put the work in. I’m excited for this fall and winter with the projects and merch I’ll be releasing soon. I got to where I am today professionally through trial and error and risks. I understand that you have to go through things to get to the things you want. It wasn’t easy but. I wouldn’t trade it for nothing. I want the world to know through my story that you can do anything as long as you put your mind to it and put the work in. I know that sounds cliche but it’s the truth.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
What’s great about the DMV area is that it’s made up of three completely different areas, DC, Maryland & Virginia. If you were to come here for a week long trip I’d suggest you check out the nightlife, the city never sleeps. Check out Tysons Galleria if you like fashion. I’d check out the MGM if you like gambling and casinos. Catch a Commanders, Nationals or Wizards game depending on the season.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shout out to YG bunkaz, he introduced me to the process of creating music.
