We had the good fortune of connecting with MC NIKHIL and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi MC, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I have always been a creative person since childhood, and I love investing my time and energy into creating things that bring me joy. I gained confidence by pursuing my interests in the creative field, particularly in music, which has become a significant passion of mine. The experiences I’ve had in the music industry have made my life more enjoyable and exciting. My main goal is to continue developing this early passion and to make it a long-term pursuit.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is music, and I express my life experiences through rap, aiming to inspire others along the way. I strive to be unique in every aspect of my work—whether it’s my sound, style, or marketing. I always aim to stand out and bring something different to the scene.

I’m proud of my authenticity and the ability to inspire those who connect with my music. After four years of pursuing music professionally, I can see significant growth in my craft. However, the journey hasn’t been easy. Standing out in a sea of talent can be challenging, but I’ve remained committed to keeping it real and unique.

Throughout this journey, I’ve learned many valuable lessons, but one that has always resonated with me is the importance of staying true to myself. Authenticity can be more impactful than imitation.

I want everyone to know that my life has never been easy. My story may not be unique, but the struggles I’ve faced have shaped me. I’ve seen hardships, and now I feel blessed that things are finally falling into place.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would return to the place where I grew up, as both an artist and a person: Bandra. Every individual in that community has inspired me to embrace my uniqueness. I don’t have a specific favorite food or place; rather, it’s the collective spirit of Bandra that has shaped my identity and creativity.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This I want to give a shoutout to my latest album, LA DREAMS 2, and to everyone who worked tirelessly alongside me to make it happen. Special thanks to my friends and team, as well as the talented artists featured on the album: SSGKobe, Surf, Tuna Fin, and everyone else involved. This project is incredibly important to me and represents a significant step toward achieving my dreams.
