We had the good fortune of connecting with Lee Bolden and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lee, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m from the Dc, Maryland, Virginia area. Growing up in the dmv has taught me mental dexterity and drive while also remembering to stay humble. This mentality has allowed me to flourish in Los Angeles where it’s extremely fast pace and you can easily get swept up in the glitz and glam

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a social media content creator and creative director for an influencer agency. I’m usually a quite introverted guy but social
Media has allowed me to freely express my creativity in various ways. I have to continuously overcome doubt and the idea of how I’m perceived to be able to continue to create. I’ve learned that not everyone in your journey is there to stay, some there to teach you a lesson about yourself. All energy is good energy if you’re able to redirect it. Although I’m not where i want to be yet, as long as you believe in yourself and you’re abilities, you can attract what it is you desire

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d first have to show them the tourist spots in LA. Venice beach, Hollywood walk of fame, driving around Beverly Hills. Then some of my favorite food/coffee places like Aroma cafe, Laurel hardware, 10 speed coffee. Then a couple dive bars like Barney’ beanery or maybe a night hangout at the beach

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My grandmother for sure, she has been my rock for so long. Whenever I’m feeling down or doubting myself, she inspires me and motivates me to move forward. Also my friends I grew up with help keep me grounded.
