We had the good fortune of connecting with Nema Saadaie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nema, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I owe the idea and thought process of our photo studio to my childhood friend, Chris Chandler, who is a talented photographer that I grew up with in Orange County, CA. Chris and I had always discussed the idea of possibly starting a business together, and upon turning 30 years old, we decided to make that dream a reality.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Precision Studios was created to provide businesses with professional grade photography at a price that made sense for both sides. We are most proud of our high quality images – in the sense that we treat every product as if it’s going on our own businesses website. Practice makes perfect, and over the course of shooting 250,000+ images, we have truly perfected the art of shooting any type of product.

There were very few challenges along the way. Our mission was to deliver a 100% guarantee on any image we delivered, and this message resonated with our customers for their product photography needs. We grew so fast that we needed to double our studio space every 6 months. Our retouching team could not keep up with the amount of images produced each day. We overcame these challenges be slowly scaling the business and never disappointing customers.

The biggest lesson I have learned in this business is having crystal clear and transparent questions with clients. Eliminate the guesswork entirely, deliver exactly what the client is expecting, and know that their success will ultimately translate to your success.

I’d like to remind the world that anything is possible with the right mindset and work ethic. It is routine to hear these words, but there is an undeniable fact that the universe rewards good do’ers with a hard work ethic. Ensure your clients are thrilled, work hard, and the rest will take care of itself.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start the adventure with a little trip up the Angeles Crest Highway. At about 3,000 feet and up, there are a few viewpoints from the mountains where you can really absorb the vastness of Los Angeles. Not only is it a beautiful drive, it’s a great place to take in either a short or long hike, and point out some of the iconic spots in town from above. From there we definitely head down to Pasadena and enjoy their Downtown for lunch – I feel that Pasadena has some of the best restaurant selections in that part of town. After a little refresh it’s onto Downtown LA for a night out – The Library Bar, 7 Grand, The Wolves, and Rhythm Room are my personal favorites. We can cap the night off with Cara Cara Rooftop for dinner – the view of the city is amazing.

You can’t visit LA without seeing the beach – so day 2 is definitely a PCH day. There is something unique about taking Pico all the way west from Downtown LA, I feel it shows you the diversity of the city, so we would definitely take the streets opposed to hopping on the 10 freeway. Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, I love starting south and working north. A sunset near Malibu is definitely the way to end the evening, Point Mugu being my personal favorite.

A Hollywood day is definitely in order. Starting from Downtown and working your way through Casaer Chavez Blvd. Restaurants galore, the Griffith Observatory, and a great place to catch a performance, or my personal favorite, a comedy show.

You can’t visit LA and not shop – so there is absolutely a shopping day in the cards for this friend. I would start with The Grove, because it’s pretty much perfect. For more unique styles, we’d have to walk Melrose, and end with dinner at Frankie’s.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate this Shoutout to my incredibly hard working father and amazing family.

My father is a hardworking immigrant to the United States; who was forced to leave his family at 17, graduated from a university, found a job, and took his family to a new country, all before age 29. My father would work a full work week, manage to coach my brother and me in sports, volunteer to referee soccer games during his free time, and still somehow found the time to run the Parent Teacher Association at school. Truly an amazing person.
