Meet Faith Woerner | Content creator and specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Faith Woerner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Faith, is there something you believe many others might not?
I have always said this but you do not need to niche down, you just need to market yourself right. I have so many hobbies and different styles like boho, edgy, pirate, cottage core, and none of those fit together well BUT if you play around with them and learn to make them work together then thats the best case scenario. If I were to niche down to fit one of those molds, I feel like I’d be super boring! Niching down is convenient but it isn’t as fun, instead of niching down to one idea or style, branch out, explore more and learn to market yourself in every category you can and you’ll build a bigger and broader audience. Also open many more doors. It’s way more fun that way.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
When I was young I got my first little pink digital camera and I took photos of everything. It was my pride and joy and I still have it to this day. Then in high school I took a photography class and it was the most fun I ever had. I have always been surrounded by photos and of course being a content creator, thats your whole world. I love capturing the little moments especially ones that don’t get posted but sharing random moments of my life and traveling and making vlogs about it, it’s so fun to look back on. I love being creative with photography and videography and want to branch out and do more with those. I am currently building a portfolio for concert photography and one day I would love to work in film and on movie sets.
Of course getting to where I am now wasn’t easy, I was told no and laughed at a lot but that comes with anything when, you’re trying to make your dreams come true. Content creation is becoming more and more normal which I’m so grateful for but of course at the beginning, I wasn’t taken seriously. I powered through, it’s always been such a fun experience and working with amazing brands and people, meeting some of the coolest people I’ve ever met because of the position I’m in.
No matter what you’re chasing and want to do with your life, its important to never doubt yourself and don’t give up! You have to take risks to learn and grow!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting my home town, I would show her around Detroit Michigan; there isn’t much to do where I live. Detroit is a short drive from me and one of my favorite places to visit, theres so many cute coffee shops and little boutiques to explore. One of my favorite coffee shops there is Madcap, it’s so yummy. Also my favorite restaurant of all time is Ottava Via, I swear by their food, I’m craving it as we speak.
If we were in LA, my favorite place on earth, like my second home, I would go to Nook for coffee or the matcha. Their coconut matcha is my absolute favorite. For shopping, Melrose of course, you can find everything there, I love just walking around and exploring. For dinner I will always choose Dukes. I lived in Hawaii for short period and Dukes always brings back those memories and makes me so happy to have a little touch of Hawaii while I’m in LA. For drinks I love Bar Lubitsch. So quaint and moody to hang out with friends, they also have a Photo Booth.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I will forever thank my parents because they really really push me to be the most creative and be different. My dad has always said to be original and never fit a mold or copy others. I try to let me quirky side show and use my original ideas as much as possible! I also would say Indy Blue is a huge inspiration to where I am now. Indy is a travel blogger and would make travel videos and content all the time, it was my favorite thing to watch. I met my best friends because of her and have built such a fun and creative community on social media because of it. And because of her and meeting my best friends, they’re a huge part in my success and where I am. My best friends are so immensely supportive and are on the same wave length as me when it comes to creativity, living your life as much as possible while you can, pushing boundaries and taking risks. Major shoutout Lauren for always keeping life interesting lol
