We had the good fortune of connecting with Noemi Banuelos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Noemi, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My journey into real estate began in Sinaloa, Mexico, where I was both an elementary school teacher and a time-share salesperson. Teaching gave me a passion for educating and helping others, while selling time shares introduced me to the world of sales and the joy of connecting people with opportunities. When I moved to the U.S., I saw real estate as the perfect way to combine both of these passions, educating families and guiding them through one of the most important decisions of their lives. That’s what inspired me to start my own business.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My career has been shaped by a deep passion for helping others and a commitment to making an impact. Coming from Sinaloa, Mexico, I started as an elementary teacher, where I discovered the joy of educating and guiding people. Later, I transitioned into time-share sales, which ignited my love for real estate and showed me the power of connecting with clients on a personal level.

When I moved to the U.S., it wasn’t easy to start over in a new country, let alone in a competitive field like real estate. However, I relied on faith, persistence, and the lessons I’d learned about education and relationships. I’ve faced challenges like self-doubt, building trust in a new market, and learning to embrace my accent as a part of my unique identity. Through it all, I focused on genuinely educating families about real estate, much like I did as a teacher.

What sets me apart is my personalized approach. I view my clients as family and take the time to ensure they feel confident and informed. I’m most proud of helping families achieve their dreams of homeownership, especially first-time buyers who thought it was out of reach.

My journey has taught me that persistence and authenticity are key. I’ve also learned the importance of staying connected to my roots and giving credit where it’s due; First to God, then to my family, mentors, and clients. Most importantly, my husband and my son are my biggest motivation every single day. They remind me why I work so hard and inspire me to keep pushing forward, knowing that everything I do is to build a better future for them.

What I want the world to know about my brand and story is that I’m not just here to sell homes; I’m here to educate, empower, and make the home-buying process an exciting and memorable experience. My goal is to build long-lasting relationships and help families create a foundation for their future.
