Hi Keetman, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
There are times when stepping back allows you to gain new perspectives, recharge your energy, and approach challenges with fresh ideas and renewed determination.
Reflecting on your goals and the reasons behind them can provide clarity. Ask yourself if the challenges you’re facing are temporary setbacks or signs that a new direction might be needed. It’s important to listen to your intuition and seek support from mentors, friends, or others in your field who can offer guidance and encouragement.

Remember, persistence is key, but so is adaptability. Sometimes the most courageous decision is to pivot, finding new opportunities that align more closely with your values and desires. Trust in your journey and the lessons it teaches you, knowing that every step, whether forward or sideways, is a part of your personal and professional evolution.

Personally, my journey has been a tapestry of both triumphs and trials. I am most proud of my dedication to continuous learning and my ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Throughout my journey, I’ve faced significant obstacles, but I learned to view these challenges as stepping stones rather than barriers. By maintaining a positive mindset and remaining open to new experiences, I was able to navigate through adversity and emerge stronger.
One of the most significant lessons I’ve learned is the importance of authenticity. Staying true to your values and mission – not only builds trust with others but also fuels your own passion and drive. Whether you’re an individual or a brand, this resonates with people and creates lasting connections.
I want the world to know that my story is one of resilience and creativity. My brand is a reflection of my commitment to do more and better, always striving to make a positive impact in my field. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh, let me tell you about my foodie paradise! I’m all about those hidden gems that everyone else just skips over, making every bite taste like a secret treasure! My bestie knows that our hangouts are basically a couch-cuddling, munch-fest vacation. We kick things off at my childhood breakfast haven, More than Waffles (I might be a little biased, but can you blame me?). Then, it’s time for a lunch date at Guatemalteca Bakery, where the platanos are pure magic! Next up, we swing by Galco’s soda shop for some bubbly fun and King Taco for taco-tastic goodness. Finally, if there’s any room left in our full bellies, we’ll wrap up the day at Folliero’s Italian for dinner and possibly indulge in an extra thick milkshake at Handle’s!🙈

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
To the friends and family who have been there every step of the way – whether it was waking up at the crack of dawn to drop off equipment to set up a booth or just to stay with me so I wasn’t alone.
