We had the good fortune of connecting with Shannon Lee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shannon, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I asked SOURCE to give me something to do so I wouldn’t loose my mind going through a divorce. I was given 25 pounds of shea butter and black soap. I wanted to create something all natural and that works.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Professionally I am a Payroll Accountant. Specializing in payroll and labor laws

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would go to get a nice breakfast. After breakfast we’d go visit different farmers markets. Then come home and I’d cook a big meal as I always do. Most people visit me because they know I’ll cook.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to say Thank You to my three girls for giving me the strength and the courage to move forward and to create. Thank you girls. Because of you I am.
