We had the good fortune of connecting with Patti Negri and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patti, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of my brand is my unwavering passion and commitment to the belief that magick, spirituality, and self-empowerment are accessible to everyone. I deeply trust in humanity’s ability to transform, heal, and manifest incredible change with even the smallest shift in perception. My work—whether through teaching, podcasting, or guiding others in their spiritual journeys—is rooted in the understanding that empowerment isn’t just for the select few; it’s something we can all tap into with the right tools, mindset, and intention.

I believe magick isn’t just about rituals and spells—it’s about aligning with the energy of possibility, taking ownership of our lives, and recognizing that we are constantly co-creating our reality. When we reclaim our power, whether through shifting a belief, setting an intention, or embracing our shadow, we open the doors to transformation in ways that are both profound and practical.

My success comes from my ability to bridge the mystical with the practical, making these concepts approachable, engaging, and life-changing. I don’t just teach techniques—I help people remember their own innate magick, showing them how a simple shift in awareness can ignite profound personal and spiritual evolution. That passion for growth, combined with my deep love for humanity’s potential, is what fuels everything I do.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work—whether it’s through television, writing, teaching, or working directly with people—is all about empowering others to tap into their own magic. I don’t just practice spirituality; I live it, breathe it, and make it accessible to anyone who is ready to embrace their own power. What sets me apart is my deep belief that magick is not just about spells and rituals—it’s about shifting perception, recognizing our own limitless potential, and reclaiming the power that has always been within us.

I am most proud of the ways I’ve been able to bring spirituality, metaphysics, and magick into the mainstream in a way that is welcoming, fun, and practical. Whether I’m teaching someone how to manifest their dreams, clear negative energy, or simply find more joy in everyday life, my goal is always to make magick something real and tangible. Seeing people light up when they realize how easy it is to change their reality with just a shift in mindset—that’s what excites me the most.

Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy, but I never expected it to be. I always followed my passion, even when the path wasn’t clear. There were challenges—times when people didn’t take me seriously, when mainstream platforms weren’t ready for the spiritual and mystical world to take center stage. But I never let that stop me. I knew that authenticity, persistence, and joy would always be my guiding lights. I overcame obstacles by staying true to myself, embracing every opportunity, and never losing sight of my purpose: to help others see the magic within themselves.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success isn’t about luck—it’s about alignment. When we align with our true purpose, doors open, opportunities appear, and the right people come into our lives. I’ve also learned that kindness, curiosity, and an open heart are some of the most powerful tools in both magick and life.

What I want the world to know about my brand and my story is that magick is for everyone. You don’t have to be born into it, you don’t have to follow a specific path, and you don’t need anyone’s permission to step into your power. Whether through my books, my television appearances, my classes, or my work with The Witching Hour podcast, my mission has always been to inspire and empower. We are all capable of transformation, joy, and manifesting the lives we desire—sometimes, it just takes a little magickal nudge to remind us.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The Ultimate Magical & Glamorous Hollywood Week

If my best friend were visiting, I’d make sure they experienced the best of my little magical corner of Hollywood—a perfect mix of classic glamour, modern nightlife, hidden gems, and a touch of nature to recharge. Here’s how I’d plan the ultimate week-long adventure:

Check-in: Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel – My favorite hotel and the place where I met my husband over 20 years ago! It’s full of history, ghostly whispers, and pure Hollywood charm.
Lunch: Musso & Frank Grill – No visit to Hollywood is complete without dining at this legendary spot. Classic martinis, red leather booths, and a sense of stepping back in time.
Afternoon Stroll: Walk down Hollywood Boulevard, check out the Walk of Fame, and stop by Boardner’s, one of the oldest and coolest bars in Hollywood.
Dinner: Tao – An incredible, high-energy spot for delicious Pan-Asian cuisine.
Nightcap: Drinks at the Roosevelt’s lobby bar—a perfect place to soak in old-school Hollywood vibes.
Day 2: The Magic & Mysticism of Hollywood
Morning: Start with a magical sunrise hike in Runyon Canyon or a workout at the Hollywood Reservoir (the best view of the Hollywood Sign!).
Brunch: The Griddle Café – Known for their insane pancakes!
Afternoon: A visit to The Magic Castle (if we can get in!) or a stop at The Crooked Path or Green Man Store for a bit of mystical shopping.
Dinner: Katsuya – Sleek, chic, and home to some of the best sushi in town.
Nightlife: Drinks and live entertainment at Black Rabbit Rose, an intimate magic and jazz club.
Day 3: Beach Getaway & Artsy Vibes
Drive to Laguna Beach – Escape to the coast for some ocean air!
Check-in: Casa Del Camino Hotel – A charming, dog-friendly beachfront hotel in the heart of Laguna’s art scene.
Lunch: The Deck on Laguna Beach – Gorgeous ocean views and fresh seafood.
Afternoon: Explore Laguna’s art galleries, check out local street performers, and enjoy a relaxing beach walk.
Dinner: Mozambique – A rooftop bar with live music and delicious coastal flavors.

Lunch: République – One of L.A.’s best spots for French-inspired cuisine in a stunning historic space.
Afternoon: A visit to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery—it may sound spooky, but it’s a fascinating and beautiful place filled with history and old Hollywood legends.
Dinner: Yamashiro – A Hollywood classic with breathtaking views of the city.
Day 5: More Hollywood & Rooftop Fun

Brunch: The Highlight Room – A rooftop brunch spot with stunning city views.
Afternoon: Vintage shopping on Melrose, stopping by Amoeba Music, and visiting the Museum of Death for something a little offbeat.
Dinner & Drinks: Mama Shelter’s rooftop bar – The perfect place to wrap up the night with cocktails and skyline views.
Day 6: A Touch of Beverly Hills & Relaxation
Morning: Drive over to Beverly Hills, stroll Rodeo Drive, and stop by The Witch’s House—a quirky storybook cottage.
Lunch: The Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel – Classic Hollywood elegance.
Afternoon Spa: Burke Williams Hollywood – The best place for a little self-care.
Dinner: Craig’s – A celebrity hotspot with a cozy, upscale feel.
Day 7: Farewell Breakfast & One Last Magical Stop
Breakfast: Blu Jam Café – A must for their famous crunchy French toast.
Final Stop: A visit to the Griffith Observatory—one of my absolute favorite places to take in the magic of L.A. and reflect on an unforgettable week.
This week would be the perfect blend of Hollywood’s glitz, the city’s hidden gems, spiritual and mystical adventures, and a little beachside relaxation. It’s all about experiencing the true magic of Los Angeles—through history, culture, and, of course, a touch of enchantment.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shoutout to my mom. She may be on the other side of the veil, but still continues to inspire me on a daily basis. Her belief in me and her unwavering support made me the woman I am today. I have had dozens of amazing teachers and mentors along the way… and still continue to – but without her love, I probably would not have been strong or brave enough to meet or work with any of them!
