We had the good fortune of connecting with Jat Watson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jat, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
There really wasn’t much of a thought process it was more so like I’d finally figured out a career choice that I’m okay with spending my life pursuing or participating in.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’d say what sets me apart from many is before I started trying to design clothes or put outfits together I began teaching myself how to make clothes from scratch a lot of people no matter the age are scared to be judged and be themselves and are influenced easily by the majority however I’ve never let those things control my curiosity and ambitions. I’m still not where I want to be yet but all great things take time being and entrepreneur and content creator takes networking, making connections, and most importantly consistency. My main challenges consists of overthinking, procrastination, and unexpected life obstacles that no one can see coming. I’m excited to one day in the future be able to contribute into donating and aiding my city and other communities in need.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One area I can think of that’s really cool and has lots and lots of place to eat and checkout I would say is definitely downtown Los Angeles. I’d suggest seeing a basketball game at the crypto center and maybe trying a mushroom burger from one of the many restaurants called smoke & fire near by, downtown la also can be great place to network you never know what celebrities maybe passing through the city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes I definitely I have to give a shoutout to Corey ray aka music producer rayrozan my childhood friend for even recommending me for this great opportunity. I also would like to shoutout my friends at vversatile souls on instagram for always being good motivators and pushing me to do more.
