Meet Alex | Co-Founder & Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alex, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting our own business was to do something with passion for ourselves and ultimately something fun and creative. Something that can bring smiles and good vibes.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our art or creative style per se isn’t a specific one, I try to blend different styles and trends with everything we do. Our creative brewery purposely is simple and plain so that we can adapt and do fun creative styles and designs when we want too and not be tired down to a certain aesthetic. but our beer we went the route of fun cartoon like mascots that people can related to in real life.

What we think sets us apart from others is incorporating as much fun into everything we do and infusing everything we do with the culture we all come from.

I’d say what we are most proud of is that we have tried out best to maintain a fun and evolving attitude towards our brand and what comes in front of us. We live to create small or big moments whatever they may be.

How we got here well, just a bunch of friends sharing ideas and wanting to do something more on the side than our usual 9-5 careers. We each are lucky to have a career where we get to learn new skills and evolve them but to also be able to bring those skills and experiences into our brand is what is really interesting.

Was it easy.. no but no good things or passionate projects are and we are fine with that, as there’s always something to learn along the way. How we overcame any challenge is to most importantly analyze and and communicate with each other what we want personally and professionally so that we can try and maintain a healthy balance between everything.

Lessons learned along the way.. BALANCE, that something we’re all trying every day to make sure and have. That, and make clear plans and not take on too much every minute.

What we want the world to know about us and our brand/story.. We are a small group of very close friends and we like to create some awesome moments & memories with the experiences and products we share with everyone. As a smile can go a long way but a moment in time can always be relived and enjoyed.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them around Rotterdam Netherlands, take them to some personal local food spots, enjoy a good 6pack of craft beers in the park and of course see some of the architectural views and buildings.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We’d like to give a shoutout to our wives/partners. Without their full support to be ourselves and try crazy ideas and more importantly to keep us grounded and realistic, we wouldn’t have come this far.
