Meet Yuliia Dudchenko | Dance Coach, Organiser of Women’s Tours&Events

We had the good fortune of connecting with Yuliia Dudchenko and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Yuliia, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Oh, that is my favourite one!
Without risking I would probably never moved through countries, would never organise any event. It’s always about your capacity and ability to face challenges and problems when they are coming your way. I found some joy in that actually. You’re never know what risk or new ideas can bring you, but in my experience it’s always good. It’s always new doors open, new amazing people in my circle. Everything is working out for me in the best way, and I always feel very blessed and grateful for that! ❤️

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I definitely want to tell you guys, at least you should give it a try. Give it a chance. Believe in it and live with it. And after you try, you understand that you should try your best.
But I honestly never tried my best. I even always joke with my friends that I probably use just 30% of my potential and things are just easily flowing to me.
So it might be a time to push it to the limit? Will see 🙂
With that saying, that’s what I like about my art. It’s not the same, it’s always different and depending on my path and stage of life. Try your best, but fuck it if you’re not getting it. It’s not the end of the world, you can always start over and try again. But remember- always in your path. That’s what I like the most about my project- I let girls be and enjoy in their path. When I teach dance classes, I want them to have stronger bodies of course, but I would never push them to do anything they don’t want to. I think it’s a perfect match. I call it golden mean.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Omg!!! That’s my second favourite thing. Because I love to organise everything with love.
We would definitely start from Malibu – get some gentle vibes, feel the soft sand. Maybe take cute pictures and sensual dance videos.
After that we would definitely get a lunch in Farmers Malibu and take pics on my Polaroid. It’s was my Christmas gift and now I’m always taking it to my classes and cute trips ❤️
I think if you’re in LA, you should definitely visit Griffith Observatory! Must have, no excuse! This place, this views- priceless!!!
And we would end event depending on our mood- might will have dinner in Casa Madera, cocktails in Catch or Perch on the rooftop (rooftops are my favourite thing for life haha) or even would heading to the next trip- for example my favourite Palm Springs ❤️

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would definitely say big thank you to all my family and friends ❤️ they always let me be whoever I want to be and it’s the most beautiful thing what you can do to creative soul. I also would thank my studio in Ukraine, Mixstyle Dance and its CEO, Olena Krytsak. I remember first time I got there just for a little administrative job, but ended up being assistant of Dance Events what she would organise and then they also invited me to teach twerk in Mixstyle, so it was definitely a huge start of my huge journey. But also, I think every person in my life played a big or little role anyway. It’s like this little invisible threads connecting people and putting them where they supposed to be. Also I’m very thankful to myself, because I never quit ❤️
