We had the good fortune of connecting with Alyssa Jolee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alyssa, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson my career has taught me is that it’s okay to try something different and if you believe in a project then put you’re 100% in it. Just as long as you believe in yourself that’s all the matters and don’t let one person try to diminish all your hard work and dedication.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am proud of how far I have come. My career has changed so much in the past year. I’ve played festivals and insane club shows. I am so excited to release new music and play new venues. It definitely was not easy getting where I am today. The beginning of my career consisted of doing free shows. I was so eager to play that just being on stage meant the world to me. I eventually started gaining more popularity, receiving more and more show inquiries. Lessons I learned along the way is to trust in myself and to keep on working hard. I give an insane show, my energy is contagious and I absolutely love performing. I am proud to be on stage and represent the Latino community in the Hard Techno scene.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my best friend to Nobu, then to level 8 rooftop bar for some drinks

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to shoutout my family. I genuinely would not be where I am today without their support and encouragement. They are genuinely my biggest fans, I feel so blessed to have them in my corner.
