What should our readers know about your business?
I’ve been in the fitness industry for over a decade now, specializing in mobility training and offering a method called Kinstretch. Kinstretch, also known as Functional Range Conditioning, is a comprehensive joint training system based on scientific principles and research. It was created by world-renowned movement specialist, Dr. Andreo Spina. The three main training goals when utilizing this system which are all closely interrelated, and acquired simultaneously are mobility development, joint strength, and body control. This journey began as a response to persistent pain—especially in the lower back, a common issue for many. After years of discomfort and experimenting with yoga and general stretching, nothing seemed to provide lasting relief, until I discovered the FRC system. I set aside the “traditional” style of strength and training and took my physical fitness down a different path of joint specific training and mobility. This is when the magic started to happen.
After healing myself, I began sharing this approach with friends and family, starting with virtual classes. That experience eventually led to teaching at PKG Martial Arts Academy, where I was also training jiu jitsu. From there, I began offering 1:1 sessions and started teaching weekly classes at the Sony Athletic Club. Today, I live in Ojai, where I teach weekly classes and workshops. I also offer 1:1 training and recently launched an online training program
Was it easy? Good question. Learning the system I teach was one thing—I had a lot of time during COVID to dive deeper into it. Teaching it is another. It’s a complex system to teach, but like anything else, the more you do it, the better you become. The same goes for building my practice in Ojai and online. The hardest part has really been staying consistent with the building process while simultaneously earning people’s trust and interest. I’ve found that many people have no idea what Kinstretch is. Introducing it can be tough because people are often attached to their routines and reluctant to try something new. However, after a couple sessions with me, people start to feel the benefits of Kinstretch, and why it’s important to incorporate joint-specific training into their lives.
The biggest thing I’ve learned along the way is that I’ve had a lot more support in this process than I ever thought I would. I feel fortunate to be building a receptive community both on-and-offline, and I’m eager to continue expanding my services and offerings.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely want to dedicate this shoutout to my fiance, Kristin Dahl. I’ve always had the idea of launching this mobility program in the back of my mind for years. She was the catalyst that lit the fire underneath my a** to start this thing. She has been supporting me throughout this entire process this entire time. I’m forever grateful for her and I can’t thank her enough.
