Meet Courtney Fisher | Founder & Mother

We had the good fortune of connecting with Courtney Fisher and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Courtney, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Work life balance is the very reason Evry Othr exisits. Earlier in my career, I poured everything into my work. I loved what I did and was deeply driven by professional growth. But when I started my family, something shifted. I found myself less inspired by the grind and more fulfilled by giving back, building deeper connections with friends, and being truly present for my family.
That shift in perspective made me realize that balance is not about dividing time evenly. It is about aligning your energy and priorities with what truly matters. For me, that means creating a life and a company that support meaningful work, a full and connected personal life, and a life that is in service to others.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Evry Othr was born from a desire for deeper connection and to make motherhood feel less alone and more fun. I wanted to create a space where women could connect meaningfully with and without their children, something more than a typical mommy and me group, where we could truly support one another through every stage of life.
Evry Othr is a hub for motherhood. We connect women in their own neighborhoods through our private community and through ongoing local events. Beyond connection, Evry Othr is a space for discovery and growth. From expert-led workshops to a curated marketplace celebrating women- and mom-led brands, we bring you thoughtful recommendations, useful resources, and products that make everyday life a little easier and more inspired.
What sets us apart is that Evry Othr is not just another mom group. We focus on supporting the whole experience of motherhood, the woman you were before having children and the one you are becoming after. That includes your partner and your family as well. We host events designed for the whole family to connect, give back, and learn together.
Building this company has not been easy. Redefining my previous version of success has taken patience, faith, and a lot of trust. There were moments of doubt and times I had to lean on this community, but each challenge reminded me how important this mission is. So many women are searching for genuine connection.
The biggest lesson I have learned is that growth does not always mean going faster or growing bigger. Sometimes it means going deeper, creating more value for the community you already have, and staying true to the intention that started it all.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Evry Othr was inspired by a small group I joined at my church, New City Church. A little over a year ago, I was struggling to build deeper relationships with other moms. After pouring so much of myself into my career, I realized I knew a lot of people, but not many very well. What happened in that group completely changed the trajectory of my life and my work.
The women in the group met every other week and quickly became very close. We shared the intimate details of our lives, supported one another through challenges, and celebrated each other’s wins and losses. That experience sparked my passion for giving back and for creating spaces where people can connect more deeply. It is also where the name Evry Othr came from, reflecting the rhythm of meeting regularly, showing up, sharing, and repeating.
