Meet Alex Jamal

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex Jamal and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alex, how does your business help the community?
when I was studying to be a personal trainer and nutritionist I had in my head a goal. That goal was to get as much education I can, so can benefit myself, my clients and everyone I meet.
So clients who hire me would understand the benefits of exercise and why are they need to be exercising frequently and stay consistent.
I wanted to make an impact on almost everyone I meet and if I don’t meet, they will probably see my content somewhere and get some knowledge from it so nowadays with social media, you can reach the whole world and when I try to put content out, I try to put good content that will have a positive influence on anyone and they will be able to get more knowledge to prevent any health problem.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
starting my career was not easy and establishing the business and a very tough city like Los Angeles, where Fitness started is even harder to do compared to other cities, but I had faith in my heart, I have a lot of passion for fitness and nutrition so I never let the negativity pull me down or that I’m going to stop or even quit also because of my competitive career and being a champion, I used that same mindset to stay consistent and I keep pushing on the days that are hard that helped me a lot to become a very successful personal trainer, and nutritionist in my field.
It definitely took time and there was a lot of days that I thought I’m never gonna be able to make it, then thought I should move.
yet I could say my mindset played the best role in my success.
I am a person who likes honesty and I like I like using what has been proven to work versus going with trial and errors when it comes to business plans.
Definitely there is always risks when starting a business and a person needs to be mentally prepared for the worst because it’s called an investment and you can either win or lose.
I try my best with my clients to build up their character if they have a problem in that because that’s major when you want to stick to Fitness a plan or nutrition plan and getting to your goal. So determination is very important characteristic to have whether you wanna be successful in your business or in your fitness goals.
I also like to emphasize on education and getting more knowledgeable from good sources until even nowadays after 20 years of working around the world in the fitness industry, I still go to conferences seminars and I am very open to learning. I use that with my clients as well so that the client will feel valuable.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend is visiting first, I will train him in my studio almost every other day and then we will go to the beach as well as I will try to take them to three hikes, which should be in Santa Monica one Culver City steps all the way up the hill where you can see all Los Angeles and Franklin Canyon in Beverly Hills.
I will make sure they are eating healthy and sleeping enough and feeling good I would not recommend alcohol because it’s not good at all no matter what and I will help them. Understand what we are doing even if we’re hanging out why we’re making healthy choices that’s for example what I will be doing in my health retreat that I’m promoting in Italy next September I will also take them to meet my celebrity friends and have them take some pictures with them. Also, if possible I will take him for her to play some sports and maybe watch a game live.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Throughout my career as a fitness champion and as a trainer, I was very blessed and I was able to meet many people in my industry and outside of the fitness world, who had a some impact on my success, but the most important person who always had an impact on my success is my mom because she was always there for me and she helped me stay strong on tough days. I had a rough childhood because I lost my dad and my only brother I was very young, five years old. later in life I was very determined to succeed and keep pushing. I had people like Frank Stallone. He was one of my clients but also a good friend of mine. the president of the Ifbb, which is the biggest Federation for Fitness & bodybuilding Wayne Demila he helped a lot
my client, Dr. Roy Meals so as many others.
