We had the good fortune of connecting with Abraham Yusuf and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Abraham, how do you define success?
Success is alignment.

It’s when what you do, what you earn, and how you live all work together.

You’re not stressed about money.
You control your time.
You enjoy the work you do.
You have peace of mind.

It’s not grinding harder. It’s freedom, stability, and purpose at the same time.

Real success is building a life and business that runs for you, not one you’re constantly chasing.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m the founder of Rearrange It, a Los Angeles based remodeling, interior design and project management services that focuses on residential and commercial spaces. I help people transform their homes and businesses through thoughtful design, space planning, and hands on coordination from concept all the way through installation.

What really sets me apart is that I don’t just design pretty rooms. I manage the entire process. I handle layouts, sourcing, budgeting, logistics, and work directly with licensed contractors so clients aren’t juggling five different people. It’s design plus execution. My goal is to make the experience simple, organized, and stress free while still delivering spaces that feel elevated and personal.

I’m most proud of the fact that I built this from the ground up. No investors, no big team at the start, just me, my vision, and a lot of hustle. I took small projects, over delivered every time, and let the work speak for itself. Over time, referrals, partnerships, and my online presence helped the brand grow into something much bigger than I imagined.

It definitely wasn’t easy. There were slow months, cash flow challenges, and times where I had to wear every hat in the business from designer to project manager to accountant. I overcame that by staying consistent, learning the business side of things, and treating every obstacle like a lesson instead of a setback. I focused on building systems, protecting my time, and thinking long term instead of chasing quick wins.

The biggest lessons I’ve learned are to value your work, set boundaries, and never be afraid to bet on yourself. Talent matters, but discipline and follow through matter more.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is simple. Rearrange It isn’t just about moving furniture around. It’s about creating spaces that change how people live and feel every day. I care about the details, the experience, and building something with integrity. This isn’t just a job for me. It’s something I’m genuinely proud to put my name on.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Day 1. Ease into the city
We’d start with brunch at Urth Caffé in Santa Monica. Great coffee, relaxed vibe, perfect people watching. Then a walk along Manhattan Beach or the pier to catch the sunset and reset. At night, a low key rooftop or lounge with city views for drinks and conversation.

Day 2. Design and shopping day
Since design is my world, I’m showing them my playground. We’d hit RH West Hollywood and West Elm for inspiration. Those spaces feel more like galleries than stores. Then Melrose for streetwear, sneakers, and cool boutiques, and finish in the Arts District grabbing coffee and checking out murals and creative spaces.

Day 3. Food tour
This day is all about eating. Tacos at Tacos 1986 or a solid taco truck. Dinner at Nobu Malibu for sushi and an oceanfront sunset. Late night stop at In-N-Out Burger because it’s basically an LA rite of passage.

Day 4. Culture and views
We’d visit Getty Center for the architecture and art. It’s super inspiring creatively. Then Griffith Observatory for that classic skyline view of the city. Later we’d shoot content or work on a creative project, then head to Venice Beach to walk the boardwalk and catch the sunset.

Day 5. Work and luxury
I’d bring them along to one of my project sites so they can see Rearrange It in action and how I transform spaces in real life. After that, we’d walk Rodeo Drive just to soak up the luxury energy, then dinner at a nice steakhouse.

Day 6. Reset day
Morning hike at Runyon Canyon Park to sweat it out. Midday massage or spa. Then a chill night at home with good food, music, and a movie. Sometimes the best nights are simple.

Day 7. Catch A Game

Depending on the time of year, hopefully we can go catch a Lakers, Dodgers, or Rams game so they can experience the environment of a Los Angeles fan base supporting their team and witness how much passion they have for the home teams.

That’s my version of LA. Good food, design, creativity, and balance. A mix of hustle and enjoying life. Not just sightseeing, but really experiencing the lifestyle.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d dedicate my shoutout to my grandfather and the collaborators and partners who believed in me along the way.

My grandfather, my dad’s dad, really shaped my mindset and work ethic. He showed me what discipline, consistency, and pride in your work look like. Watching how he carried himself and handled responsibility taught me to stay focused, keep my word, and build something I could truly stand behind. That foundation gave me the confidence to bet on myself and start Rearrange It.

I’m also grateful for the brands and creative partners who took a chance on me. Those opportunities helped me grow beyond just doing the work and start thinking bigger about what I could build and where I could take my career.

None of this happened alone. It’s been built on trust, opportunity, and people believing in me along the way.
