Meet Shaun Marson | Novice Content Creator | Project Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shaun Marson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shaun, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
What makes me happy?
Real shit. Genuine people (My family, My brothers, My friends). Late night conversations that accidentally turn into therapy sessions. Seeing the people I care about win in life. Building something from nothing. Making people laugh when they needed it the most. Music hitting at the perfect time. Creating stories. Streaming and seeing a community slowly become family instead of just viewers and usernames.
I think what really makes me happy is feeling connected. Feeling understood without having to explain every scar or every thought in my head. Loyalty. Effort. Presence. The little things people overlook now.
Why?
Because life gets heavy fast. People leave, time moves weird, and nothing stays still forever. So when you find moments or people that feel real, you hold onto them. That kind of happiness feels earned, not manufactured. It reminds me there’s still beauty in all the chaos.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art has always been about connection more than attention. Whether it’s through streaming, storytelling, community building, or creating characters and worlds, I want people to feel something real when they interact with my work. What sets me apart is that I don’t try to be overly polished or fake for the internet. I bring my real emotions, humor, struggles, and experiences into everything I create. I care deeply about building communities that feel genuine, supportive, and lasting instead of just chasing numbers or trends.
Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. There were moments of burnout, self-doubt, personal struggles, and times when life made creating difficult, but I kept pushing forward because creating has always been part of who I am. Along the way, I learned that success is not just about views or recognition it’s about impact. If something I create makes someone feel understood, inspired, or less alone, then it matters. I want people to know my brand is built on authenticity, passion, and creating spaces where people can truly feel like they belong.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to New York for a week, I’m giving them the full experience not just tourist spots, but the real energy of the city. First day, we’re grabbing a chopped cheese or bacon egg & cheese from a corner deli because you can’t skip the bev. Then we’re walking through SoHo, Chinatown, and the Lower East Side just catching the vibe of the city.
At night, definitely rooftop views somewhere in Manhattan or Brooklyn because New York at night feels like a movie. One day has to be dedicated to Brooklyn Prospect Park, Dumbo, live music spots, small cafés, vintage stores, and random conversations with people you’ll probably never see again. That’s part of the magic here.
The rest of the week would honestly be a mix of chaos and culture. Hitting Koreatown late at night for food, spending hours in bookstores or record shops, catching underground events, maybe a Knicks game or live boxing event if the timing is right, and ending random nights just sitting somewhere talking about life while the city never sleeps around us. What makes New York special isn’t only the places it’s the people. Everybody’s chasing something here. Artists, hustlers, immigrants, creators, musicians, people rebuilding themselves. The city has this weird way of making you feel small and inspired at the same time, and I think everybody should experience that feeling at least once.
