We had the good fortune of connecting with Clarissa Hoffmann and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Clarissa, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks means growth. Means stepping out of my conmfort zone. Means I care about this topic. Means I still have life running through my venes. Means I can still grow into a better version of myself. Into a bigger version of myself. And life can still be exciting. If I hadn’t taken any risks in my life, I would still be shy, quiet, depressed, working somewhere where people told me to work, living my life in the way people told me to, experiencing the feelings people told me to. It took me a HUGE risk to dare to say, “Hey, I have a different dream for myself. This might be totally naive, but I’m gonna go for it.” And I did. And funnily enough, people started noticing that I was serious about it pretty quickly, that I was getting a lot out of it, that I became happier and more confident and that I created a life for myself which I can be very grateful for. Taking a risk means to me following a deep desire/goal/dream, noticing the doubts coming up, and then still chosing to go for it. Maybe even using those doubts as a catalysator. What if I don’t have to be younger to start the career of my dreams? What if I could be the first one in making this possible? What if I don’t need to come up with more sample questions here for people to understand my point of view? What if I can just do it without experiencing stress and fear and actually have fun and enjoy “taking risks”? Yes! Taking risks can be fun if you chose to! It doesn’t have to hard, challenging, scary, dramatic, serious, heavy, a big thing. I noticed that by becoming aware of my thoughts which have those words in it, I just rephrase those thoughts and use words like fun, joy, ease, allowing, pleasure, exploring, curiousity and suddenly my new perspective creates a whole new, much more enjoyable experience. I did this with answering this question. And I’m happy I did it! 😉

I help high-performing change-makers use their breath to release apparent and hidden blocks so that they can rise to higher states of consciousness and enhance their mental and physical performance in the most powerful way. Right after one session they leave with greater clarity & increased productivity, higher self-awareness and confidence in their capabilities. They also walk away with a tool that is always available to them whenever they feel thrown off to return to their natural state of harmony easily. Being the daughter of a medical and an alternative doctor, I learned very early on that there is a strong connection between mind and body and that mental stress can cause uncomfortable emotions, can cause illness. After more than 10 years of studying human behavior and the power the mind has on our emotional state, I found that there is one specific thing that connects every system and function in our body: Our Breath. So if our breathing changes, whether it happens unconsciously due to stress or consciously with help of a technique, then all these systems will change accordingly. This means that the way we breathe has a direct effect on our physical, mental and emotional health and well-being. Therefore, understanding and using our breath purposefully is a major skill if we want to become healthy, happy and high-performing individuals and enhance every aspect of our life. Thanks to breathwork I was able to experience the most amazing feelings of bliss and peace I had never felt before, experience higher states of consciousness with profound insights, vivid visions and a flow of creative ideas, and enhance my overall health and well-being. I found emotional stability, huge confidence in my skills, amazing enthusiasm for life and manifesting things into my life very easily and quickly. 6 months after I had started facilitating (June 2019), I had already given a successful breathwork class to Google NYC, Diane von Fürstenberg, FounderMade and highly skilled Broadway performers. This year I also got booked for a huge gig with 500 conscious entrepreneurs on a mediterrenean cruise alongside Dr. Mark Hyman, Emily Fletcher and Daybreaker Founder Radha Agrawal (it got rescheduled for next year due to quarantine). So my mission is clear: Sharing this powerful, transformational work with as many people as possible to transform their lives so they can be their happiest, healthiest and most successful version of themselves.
