We asked folks about legacy and what they want people to remember about them. We’ve shared some of those responses below.

Bobby Breed | Professional Comicbook/Storyboard/Concept Artist and Writer & 2D/3D Animator

When I think of my legacy, I think of more than just my artistic contributions. On a personal level, I want the people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting throughout my life, my dear friends, and my loving family to have fond memories of me! I hope that they remember all the good times and experiences we shared in – the smiles, laughs, jokes and moments of joy! Seeing people happy and content is very important to me and I strive to create that environment no matter where I am or what I’m doing! Ultimately, I want my loved ones to be as grateful for the time we’ve all had together as much as I have! It is also key to remember some of the more serious times when we came together working through hardships as one! Knowing that we could count on each other to be there when we needed them the most is part of the legacy I want to leave behind. I am proud to be “Dad”, “Pops”, “Pee-paw” to 4 amazing children and one awesome grandson! Being there for them when things are tough, giving honest heartfelt advice. Read more>>

Joaquina (Jojo) Gentil | Actress, Podcaster, and Creative

At first , I chose to study acting and performing arts because of the human factor that is key to it. Nevertheless, I started to realize that that’s only the door to something bigger: the encounter between humans, and the blossoming of unique creativity. As I plunge deeper into the world of directing , writing, podcasting and even producing I realize how I do not really care about recognition. But I do want the people I work with , and our audiences, to feel what it is to prioritize the truthful connection between human beings, and work towards having everyone involved, exploring and expanding their gifts using the frame of the work as an excuse. I want them to remember how it felt to be in tune with each other , and to create magical circumstances- life itself, out of thin air, out of each other, finding out how there is still hope to be discovered in humans. I want to be remembered for bringing people together, and for moving them. Read more>>

Siena Bella | Singer, Songwriter & Composer

What do you want your Legacy to be? Music has always been there for me, through my rough times, joyous times, and even when I’m crumbling down. Music helps me to embrace and express what I feel more than talking can. I hope my legacy brings people together through my music with lots of energy and life so they can be who they are. I hope that my music helps people get through whatever they may be going through at that time. A lot of music nowadays lack the luster of hope and faith, and I want to change the way we express music. My desire is to spread inspirational and positive music, not only in my generation but in generations and generations to come. What do you want people to remember about you? A girl who sings with exuberant passion and strong conviction, and still has humility in her heart for others. Music will always be something that I love to create, listen to, and feel. My favorite place to be is in my own room or a recording room, composing and writing songs all day long. Read more>>

Brian Starkman | Videographer

In regards to business, watching my videos is enough of a legacy for me. I have always felt my videos would live on for generations to come and that is what I sell. I want people to remember the happiest days of their lives and be able to see loved ones that are no longer here. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I say imagine if you could hear that picture. That is what I do; I let my clients relive their once in a lifetime day. I get countless emails and calls from past clients sharing how special their videos are. Some are from last year and some 15 years ago. I can only imagine how these emails will look when our videos are 30 or 40 years old. This all comes from passion; my passion to create the most incredible memories for my clients. Read more>>
