We had the good fortune of connecting with Maison Kitsanu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Maison, what’s your definition for success?
Success is defined as attaining for the right things. It brings you results using amounts of accumulating. Success is sometimes pensive, and an issue if you don’t respond. A downturn if you lose an issue. Most people can’t find success, and the sad part is that everyone I believe can be their own form considered for what defines success. My success will come from an attitude set for me to share an attitude with. That’s my definition of how my success will look like. . Never my preference. It will always be because I will be present for it.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My beat-maker name is Maison Kitsanu. My label name is BRING THE NOISE RECORDS. Did I mention I also established my own clothing line and music publishing COMPANY MIGO. It features an email subscribing platform used to service artists and their song making requests, or I sometimes use it to showcase my own music and videos. My videos, which I have a YouTube channel under the username: COMPANYMIGO. it shows my artistic side and attitude. And by having that our it keeps me able to stay around other independents and even more supporters who are not only doing the same or similar thing as me but we can become attached to others in different categories of business. Like food writers, who can listen to my music and become listeners. I have some people who tell me to stay consistent but it’s important for me to stay where I am on foot with things and stay onto that and not without it at all. I can’t respond to any other thing, that’s the one thing I have to keep myself knowing almost any obstacle I face. My obstacles faced are mostly from the times I have to use that goes against anything I’ve set for the goodness of my dreams and my virtuosities. Authenticity and God-given talent is what you will find when you say the name @maisonkitsanu!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First we would either go to Santa Monica, get lunch at a bistro or cafe. Brunches are very popular there. For drinks, Venice or Marina de Rey of course. There’s also a few spots located inside of the city, I love going to day parties which are always now in either DTLA or beach areas. I used to enjoy Century City a lot but that will hurt your pockets. That Century City mall is almost perfect. Impossible to see we have an outdoor mall finally in LA. Some people interesting? There are many vendors now and sellers in LA, some food vendors, many black-owned businesses for retail such as sneaker stores (s/o Tilt LA, and NORF) that keep you interested. Daily and nightly activities. Nightclubs, art galleries and showcasing art. Hollywood and Sunset is still fun of course! My city LOS ANGELES is a very popular city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have a lot of friends that do to be honest. My family, God, and everyone else who is helping themselves survive and win without any unsupportive attitudes.
