We had the good fortune of connecting with Bianca Foster and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bianca, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
The end goal is to leave a legacy. I want to have something that I can pass down to my daughter and generations after her. I plan to turn my small business into multiple schools across the U.S. I plan to open the Girls 2 Women Academy as a prestigious institution for young girls all over the country. Even after I’m done working for the school, it will continue working for me!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have two professions. I always say my chosen career is a teacher, but the career that chose me is mentoring. There is no joy like being a kindergarten teacher. Being a student’s first impact, first teacher, and being able to set their foundations for learning is a gift. I chased being a teacher for years. I couldn’t pass the praxis test for 3 years which hindered me from getting my license. I almost gave up after taking some tests more than 5 times, but God wanted me to have that job, so I kept pushing and I finally became a licensed teacher! The career that chose me is now taking me further than I ever expected. I now own my own business and non-profit organization, I mentor young girls and help to mold them for the world. My goal is to leave an everlasting impact on these young ladies so they can shine bright in the world. Girls 2 Women Academy is a place where we focus on the entire girl, physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. My goals and vision for G2W are so big and I know they will come true. Yes, there have been challenges! Sometimes people can’t see past their small minds and try to “downplay” your dreams and goals. That can be hurtful or damaging if you are not built ford tough. Building a brand is not easy, it’s a lot of dedication, late nights, and early mornings. Thank God I have a great support system and loving family because I depend on them to push me when I feel like quitting. I’ve learned that you have to go hard for your brand, even if you get one like on social media, one mentee, one post share…..KEEP POSTING AND PUSHING! I want the world to know that I care so much about mentoring young girls and sowing seeds into our future because one day they will be the leaders of our country. Girls 2 Women is more than a brand and I will keep doing my part in changing the world! Dream big and work hard for what you want!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family and friends have supported me and pushed me into becoming the lady I am today. Michelle Obama and her transparency, passion, and courage motivate me to keep working to leaving a stellar reputation. I am a mentor and I believe in impacting our youth and I owe that path of my life to Tunjia Felts. She believed in me and mentored me with her business, techniques, spiritual growth, finances, and so much more. After graduating from college I stayed in a small town. Even though my amazing Mom and Dad always support me and have my back, Mrs. Tunjia gave me insight and guidance on becoming a successful business woman! Shout out to my husband and daughter for keeping me grounded.
