Overcoming challenges and learning new skills that involve my hands makes me happy. I’ve always been a very tactile learner and learning new skills excites me. Aside from painting I play the piano, knit, sew, bake with sourdough, canning food, play the ukulele, and just started exploring monoprinting. I’d like to add papermaking to that list soon. Choosing a path and industry that I love makes me incredibly happy. As an art student, I was once unsure if I was making the right career choices. I started focusing on art in high school, pursued Animation and VFX in college, and then went for a master’s in Game Development. Read more>>

There are many things that make me happy and for which I am grateful every day. Being together with my family, going on road trips with friends while listening to music, watching the sunsets, and eating sushi, lots of sushi! Yet, I think I am happiest when I attend a live show and witness connection between the audience, the artist and the songs, feeling them (and myself!) being present in the moment and experiencing the power of music.
