We asked some of our favorite folks what makes them happy and why?

Making others happy has always been at the core of who I am since I was a child. I remember a time when I was like 5, my older brother was having a playdate, and his friend fell and scraped his knee. I disappeared instantaneously and returned with a pink hello kitty bandaid that I scavenged from the bottom of my bathroom drawer. My entire life, it has been my nature to heal the world around me. Doing something with my hands. It doesn’t matter if it is making clothes, playing an instrument, cooking a good meal, or shooting hoops, I need to be doing something physical like that. Read More>>

I find passion in designing & producing beautiful one-of-a-kind fine art pieces. Bringing a unique concept to life and then sharing it with others and hearing their kind words in return is always very touching. In all the professions I’ve have had throughout my life, I’ve always looked for ways to apply myself creatively and bringing joy to others. Attention to detail makes me happy. Finding and incorporating unique hardware, glass, acrylic, metal, and found objects into my design is very gratifying. I have enjoyed various forms of art since a young child. Art allows me to be playful and experience the joy in getting lost in the creative process. Read More>>

What makes me happy is helping others and making people feel seen. Growing up, I often felt misunderstood or struggled to find the right words to express myself. That experience made me deeply aware of how important it is to feel acknowledged and understood. I want people to know that I see them, I hear them, and they are not alone. We’re all human, and we all need help sometimes whether we ask for it or not. I love being that person who reminds others that they are valued, loved, and supported. Read More>>
