We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristiana Tarnuzzer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kristiana, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
I typically always sit in the camp of keep going, but there are times to let something go (I like to phrase it that way versus “give up” which is typically equated to failure), and those instances are when and if something is no longer serving you. When you let it go, that is actually a positive, and a gift you are giving yourself.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Cause Bar was created for female aspiring philanthropists committed to making long-term, effective impact, while affording them personal transformation. We often ask: “How can I give back to society & those in need? How can I get involved?” We initially think of donating to or volunteering with familiar, well-known causes – both of which are commendable. However, there is a way we can make real, sustainable difference, while simultaneously identifying our true calling and purpose. The Cause Bar shows us the way. I saw an unfulfilled area in the market for connecting individuals with tangible and impactful ways to live an environmentally and socially conscious lifestyle. In response to women identifying a desire to be more intentional and effective in their impact, I founded The Cause Bar to provide customized philanthropic guidance through value and purpose alignment and highly immersive social impact experiences tailored to core values, giving style, skills, and passion points. I take an empathic approach to my work, focusing on my clients’ “true self” and pivotal life experiences, and navigating these terrains into an opportunity to help the greater good. This transformation is so powerful to see come to life, as it sets the foundation for identifying my clients’ purpose, and what will become their destined path towards supporting a cause for which they are most passionate.
