We had the good fortune of connecting with Alejandro Gonzalez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alejandro, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most crucial point for us is when the decision was made to pivot brand direction to a company with high quality items at a great affordable price. The vision remains the same only now with a more simplistic, modern, minimalistic feel to the art from top to bottom. I’ve made sure that details are added to each item and search the globe for some of the most unique and luxurious fabrics to ensure quality. This pivot has excited many of my customers who feel less sometimes speaks volumes and is expressive in its own right.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My will to never give up is sometimes a strength and sometimes can fall trapped into a weakness. I am in year 2 of running my business and though many ideas have not panned out exactly as I thought, one has stayed true. The plan to take my time and never move faster than the company can move has saved my butt many times. That thinking has also taught me when to strike and when to hold back when opportunity’s arise. The brand vision is a simple one a streetwear fashion brand with a minimalistic feel. We offer high level fashion items for a reasonable price.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would say drop by and say hi to all the amazing vendors and see our permanent place in Yorba Linda at the town center every other Sunday, from 10am until 3pm. Depending on the weekend, on Saturdays I would say visit us at the OC fairgrounds from 9am until 3pm. If your in downtown Orange we always enjoy taking a trip to the circle and enjoying all the local restaurants in that historic area. While we are in Anaheim we always enjoy eating at the Anaheim packing house with so many dinner options it makes it a fun place to go out for the night.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Mom and StepDad Jim have been a big role since I’ve started this business. At almost every single event they come to help me set up and tear down. This has encouraged me to continue as Jim is always creating new ideas with me and brainstorming about new layouts for the event. My new help from the Bader family is allowing me to grow in ways I’ve never imagined and am super thankful. Plus, without the support from my wife cheering me on along the way none of this would be possible and the initial investment from that one person! I will never forget that extending hand.
